The Imagination Station

Here's what a group of Rochester kindergartners had to say when asked: "If you could take all the pots, pans, and kitchen utensils out of the cupboard and do whatever you wanted with them besides cook, what would you do?"

Zoe, age 6: "I have done that, we made music."

Bopita, age 6: "I would make a collection and tap on them."

Isabelle, age 6:  "I would make music."

Grace, age 5:  "I would make a swimming pool...a water park one with a big pool and a baby pool for my Webkinz."

Kate, age 6:  "Make musical things."

Austin, age 5:  "Take a pan and a spoon and tap it like there were 100 pianos and 100 guitars."

Kayla, age 6:  "I would make them into a shiny piano, I would need glue."

Rami, age 5:  "I would put a pan on my head and tap it.  It would echo in my head...that is what I would do."

Payton, age 5:  "If I had hundreds of pots and pans I would invite my friends over to see if I had 100 friends to make music with me."
