"How many of us have driven to St. Paul or La Crosse to spend a day with the kids at the children’s museum? I have. How great would it be to have one in our own city! If we can bring families to our city to visit our museum, how great would that be? When I learned there was a group working on bringing a children’s museum to Rochester, I immediately signed up. Being a former teacher and a mother of two, it is so important for kids to have an outlet to have hands-on learning in an exciting place. A children’s museum brings that to them. I am so excited to be a part of this and serve on the board. It is a great way for families to spend time together and learn."
